"Westlake Village may not be the first place you think of for crave-worthy food, but Chef Jesus Medina and his team at Coin & Candor in the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village are turning out dishes that cover all the bases of the best modern hotel restaurants: a menu that not only reflects the chef but also the restaurant’s home turf, fresh produce grown on the property as well as sourced from the finest local farms, and handmade care taken with every element that arrives on the table. It’s rare to find a restaurant that deftly moves between sourdough crafted in-house to lobster al pastor, but Coin and Candor manages the feat with aplomb.
